Maryll is a New York based actor, award winning writer, producer, music nerd and pug owner.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Maryll has applied her steel town grit and spirit to her work in TV/Film and stages and day jobs regionally for years. 


Maryll's plays and the occasional spectacle have been produced in Chicago, Pittsburgh and State College.

June 2020: Buttball wins Outstanding Narrative Short

March 2020...and the pandemic strikes and SOMA has been postponed. 

 Buttball has been selected to be part of this, like all things right now: TBD. 
Fun fact: Buttball was filmed in South Orange/ Maplewood NJ and much of the cast is comprised of stellar local talent. From all facets of production to being received by this festival- South Orange/ Maplewood- is nothing but gold. 

Fall 2019: Maryll's short film Buttball completed production and is now in festival contention.

January 2018: Maryll is named a Quarterfinalist in Atlanta Film Festival's Short Screenplay Competition. 

November 2017: Maryll was awarded Second Place in the Short Screenplay Category. 

October 2017: Maryll was named a Second Rounder in the Austin Film Festival and attends the Writers Conference.

September 2017: Maryll was named a Finalist in the Filmmatic Screenplay Awards. 

July 2017: Maryll served as Associate Producer for the short film: MatchAn awkward first date played out by three different couples.

July 2017: Maryll's feature film Stalled is a Semi-Finalist in the Broad Humor Festival

May 2017: Maryll is named a Finalist in the Artists Alliance Short Screenplay Competition

May 2017: Stalled is an official selection for the 13th Annual Hoboken International Film Festival screening in Greenwood Lake, NY on May 21st.
